Welcome to LAMB. Here I pair books with outfits because books are not only to be read but worn. Indeed, they can be our finest accessories. When thinking about books in this manner, it makes sense to consider the look of your book with your clothes. After all, one of the Latin terms for book is 'vade mecum'—meaning "come with me." Celebrating the design of beautiful books is especially important to do now, in the age of iPads, Kindles, etc, which have little to no charm, are not unique, are not supple, and do not have a particular scent.
